Okay, you win. 'And this relates to blackjack, how?'

By the way, a-non is of a different sex. I know it hurts to be put in your place by a woman, but it happens to the best of us.

    Ploppy Funster: have fun

"> Ploppy goes to overcrowded boat intending to
play a few hands of $5 blackjack. No seats available, finally gets to sit down at one of the $50 tables, which doesn't matter, all the limits are jacked up, so play or leave. Ploppy starts playing $50 a hand instead of $5."

But sir, ploppy and wife only has $100 each, ploppy play one hand for $50, double down, and lose,it no fun for ploppy, money only last 2 seconds, wife get angry and smack ploppy,he want more money, they leave casino, broke, empty stomach. It fun,no? I know, maybe it be fun if tables even more crowded.

Brick: Should I change my mind?

You cant understand why other card counters might have a different opinion than yours on this rat packing issue? Is disagreeing with you grounds for busting a post at your site?

Do you really thick ploppies will consistenly get a kick being treated as packrats and this hunk casino will benefit to a goldmine in the long run?

    I surely dont.

    I thought that was Creedence?

    Why should NW feel hurt?

Stringing a few coherent thought together and posting them on a message board does not equate to putting someone in their place.

    > I thought that was Creedence?

Creedence covered it, so did Eric Clapton.

Do a little research, however, and you will find that it was written by one "E. McDaniels," better known as Bo Diddley.

A word to the wise: Norm is even better at music history than he is at writing blackjack software, if that is possible.

Not at all. But in the spirit of freedom of expression, I can select the option of ignoring the opportunity to engage in a debate I am disinterested in. This is one of those opportunities... Now rat-holing is a topic that interests me.

Brick, you should know by now I am a very irreverent fella. Don't take it to heart if I tweak you.

I see so many resigned faces at the casino that I have to constantly ignore the vibes around me. Losers do not think like us. Losers do not walk away from games that force them to alter their risk/reward ratio. They plunge right in and hope to get lucky. For every gambler who says, "This is s**t and I'm not going to take it any more," there are another four waiting in line to take his place. The casinos rely on the law of large numbers, too. There are far too many uninformed gamblers out there for them to worry about fair play for the enlightened few.

that's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Milk Man: Re: Should I change my mind?

Let me be clear. When I post I am not trying to insult anyone. I am not trying to just maintain an arguement. I am not trying to play who is right and who is wrong. My point was if anyone goes to Ho Chunk this time of year the person should expect crowds of people that will make it difficult to maintain a wong strategy. The is the tourist time for the Wisconsin Dells. If you go in the off season it is much easier in the winter to table hop. It is possible that a person could go to Ho Chunk at 10:00 am when tables open and wait until 4:00am when they close and not have a chance to play. Maybe I exaggerate a little. But I do not mind that a casino gets full of patrons all the time. At christmas time Mystic Lake is great to Wong a long a ding dong. Go on New Years and you won't get a table or a seat in the bingo hall. You may even have to wait for a slot or video poker machine. I never play at Mystic on New Years. What fun is it to plan to take the boss man's money only to show up and not have a chance to reach into his pocket? Especially if you may have traveled a long way.

I think at this particular casino, where for all practical purposes there's NO competition, they can do whatever they like, and the tables will be packed 24/7. In fact, they do and they are. At least a hundred gamblers a day WALK AWAY from those tables because they don't care to wait 20 minutes for a seat. This is one of the few places that would profit by devoting more space to blackjack, since the slots aren't quite so packed.

The pact Potty-wannabe signed with the governor guarantees them ZERO competition within 50 miles, and they're smack dab in the middle of Wisconsin's densest area. Talk about a seller's market. And if all the suckers go broke, so they have to improve the rules, the APs will flock and the ploppies won't even know the difference.

Sometimes, you just have to give the devil its due.
