Electric Kid: Correlation Between Good Games and Hotel Cost

I been wondering if there is any correlation between good games and the price casinos charge for a hotel room in the midwest. I know of several places that have real good games and their hotel rooms are also real inexpensive. Does anyone feel there is a relationship between good games and the price a casino charges for a nights stay? For example Lake of the Torches casino in northern WI charges $100 for a nights stay and they offer a terrible blackjack game, by contrast the last time I visited the candy store I paid less than $60 for a nights stay. It was nothing fancy, but was a decent room. I'm begining to think that if a casino rips you off on a hotel stay they will also rip you on with terrible games. Does anyone feel this is true?

And they had a very fine game but cheap lousy rooms.

Plus they told me not to come back.

I am used to a fine game with a comped Jacuzzi Suite that is well appointed with a beautiful view.

I never thought about it before, but I think you are right.

The same management philosophy that allows rooms to be priced at "whatever the market will bear", or in other words, hike the rates until they don't want to stay here anymore ...

This would be the same management that says, offer a poorer and poorer game until they don't play anymore.

Since I play at "Hole" on occassion and have done fairly well, I am curious as to the cause of your banishment from their smokey halls.

Beau Rivage in Biloxi might be the exception. The "Bellagio of the South" has expensive but v. nice rooms and good BJ.

What I have said about you previously notwithstanding, I enjoy reading your posts.

If nothing else, your posts are an intersting read and your ego knows no bounds!

    Have a good weekend.

playing area was so extensive. Isn't Hole in the Wall quite a way out of your area. Anyway, I know they offer a good game, but what I want to know is the story on why you are not welcome back? You didn't clean them out of every last penney they had did you? I think Hole if in Wall has probably the most friendly staff of any casino I visited in the midwest.

P.S. What do you need a fancy room for if you are just playing blackjack?

Yes The Little House On The Prairie charges $12.00 a night and Mystake and the Island only get down to $20.00 sometimes for their specials. The Little house on the prairie has better rules and a more playable dd game dealt up from a shoe.
It has been a while since the Man went out to the pature.

So did you take their advice and go to Turkey Lake to get the same game?

There must be shitty games in Vegas this year. My travel agent said she could not find any packages cheaper than $800 for a 4 nighter.

The short of it is that I and a friend were hitting it pretty hard with no cover and they had both of our pictures from another casino as known counters and cheats! We were made from the pictures.

I enjoy a fine room as you never know when you may be called upon to entertain, besides the fact that most of us do enjoy the finer things life has to offer.

This game we play must be made fun for all of us so that some day we may look back at it with fond memories even if financially we do not strike gold.

I have met so many wondefull people that I can truly say I am a better and richer person for playing the BJ and casino game.

Did they back you off(no more blackjack) or did they bar you from the "Hole". Were you betting the max? Come spring I'm thinking of making a trip there and I'm wondering how far I can push it.
