• Bipartisan legislation to legalize casinos in Texas

    Always been odd that Texas, long associated with gambling, where fortunes were made taking chances, where Benny Binion started, has no casinos. Changing these laws in Texas is a difficult process. The latest attempt may have a chance. But, file this under I'll believe it when I see it.

      No electricity is fine if you're moving cattle across the prairie and hanging out by the campfire at night, but not so good if you're trying to run a casino. I wonder if their talents at running a casino surpass their electrical grid skills.

      Good reason for Texas casinos to dump slots and concentrate on real dealers with manual shuffling.
