• Westin Las Vegas looking to close casino

    Not a good sign when a Las Vegas hotel wishes to stop gaming entirely to open a restaurant. First time I saw the Westin, I didn't recognize it. I watched the Maxim open its first and second section back in the 70s, which was silver clad and a completely different image.

      Not surprised by this move. I rented a car at the Enterprise desk at the Westin a few months back and noticed the sad little casino in there. There was one pit of table games as I recall, and it was closed.
