• Cincinnati Horseshoe Dealers Indicted for Cheating

Rigging the shoe at mini-Baccarat and capping bets at Craps. It would be interesting to know how they went about ordering the cards in the shoe.

This is very interesting indeed. While the amounts stolen were modest,
the dealers MAY be more than a bit motivated to "cover their tracks"
by making up for the lost revenue by cheating some unwary patrons.

I too would like to know how a cold shoe was snuck onto the table.

The Craps Table was "taken off" in a very simple manner that a
vigilant E.I.T.S. can easily catch. The dealer palms a chip and the
partner bets an odd amount of chips. The dealer with the palmed
chip "breaks down" the bet while adding the hidden chip. If the real
bet was three (3) chips, when it loses 3 chips are lost. The winning
bet has had a chip added so that the 3 chips become 8 chips on an
Even Money bet. This is even better when done "taking the odds."

It seems like you described a "reverse savannah" ZMF. Only that the dealer is more than likely the mechanic controller the way you described it. On craps it may be better executed if a players bet was in the hook closest to one of the dealers but out of clear sight of the boxman. I would have to imagine that it would be best executed if the MC and player working together are both on the opposite side from where the dice are landing. After the dice are in air, that's where everyone's eyes will be on a craps tables, watching the dice.
