• Maryland shifts from slots to table games

    Casinos have long moved toward a larger percentage of slots as they are easy to manage and control and require few trained personnel. Younger players have little interest in slots as they are used to complex video games that make slots seem dull and mindless -- which they are. So, we are now seeing some casinos shift back, partly to traditional table games, partly to carnival games, and partly to more complex slot alternatives. Also, more non-casino entertainment.

      Younger players today realize that machines can be programmed to kick their butts and take their money.

      The shift to table games ought to include the addition of Spanish21,
      And maybe Blackjack Switch and other variants of our beloved 21 !

      Maybe they will bring in those BJ variants if they are not already on the floor.
