• Victory Cruise Casino shut down for safety violations

Well, I've never had a casino sink on me. Wonder what the violations were.

It is back open and sailing.

All in all, OK. Easy going. Not much heat, though bets are capped at $200 max on most tables, though $500 max at higher minimum tables. Makes more of a grind, especially when the shoe is good.

Haven't had any or seen any issues yet, though I do think there is one shill that is trying to find the counters for the casino. I just play semi-dumb...."I heard of it..I tried it...was too much work...I'm here to enjoy myself and take a break" approach. Never saw anyone backed off yet, but it may happen on land or elsewhere.

Seems like all the proper safety things have been dealt with...I don't feel a need to bring on my own life preserver

They aren't giving away the profits by giving awesome play like Jacks or Better (previous boat) did with $100 free play every time I boarded. No match or nothing. And many people received more than that!

Give it a solid B, as long as you don't mind full tables at $5-10. 3-4 at $15 and 2-4 at $25 table.

The downside is that you are out there for almost six hours, casino open for about 3.5 hours. You can't "leave" very easily, though there is a open deck and a "nightclub" space that you can retreat to when you want.

I end up playing about three "sessions" during the trip and spending time doing some reading or watching mindless TV/videos between.

They have an a la carte menu and for some trips a buffet. Food is, well, edible, but nothing to get excited about.

Blackjack is 8 deck, Split any, S16, no surrender and DAS.

      But low heat, friendly people.
