Wizardofodds.com and wizardofvegas.com were sold to Joshua Chan for $2,350,000. Shack will take some flack for selling to a major casino affiliate. But, sounds like a decent AP move to me. Congrats.

I'm sorry to hear this. On the flip side I hope we see a lot more content from the wiz now that he doesn't have to run the business.

Maybe now he won't have to panhandle? Hopefully he won't bank the proceeds in a Cypress bank either... Just for the flying f*ck of it perhaps he should also stay away from Argentinian or Kenyan Banks...

Tarzan - did you meet with him during your recent LV trip? If so, I'd like to hear what happened. If you prefer, email me at my handle at gmail.

Nope! He cancelled, was busy or whatever... he turned down meeting up with a guy with stacks of $100 bricks that had no problem paying him for his time if that was some sort of an issue. He was talking about his Cypress banking issues a few months later and was panhandling on his site over his financial woes within a few months after that. Hopefully he's squared away his financial woes but also this means he's no longer desperate and can more easily turn down meetings, work, offers and opportunities again, so I give up. It was very limited what I could use him for anyway. Bear in mind he's not a (professional) blackjack player, he's an actuary... There's a difference. He's clueless on what Gordon/DHME groupings even are.

Hmmm... a decent AP ??? Yes! A lightbulb just lit up in my head. If I were Arnold Snyder, Ken Smith, or Viktor, etc... I would reactivate my old website, and sell it to Joshua Chan. Congrats to Mike Shackleton for making the best possible AP's move.

Listened to Shack last night on GWAE podcast with Munch and Dancer. He gave a good explanation and history of what had happened to him lately and that he still will be involved with site in similar manner. They want his content; but they are going to work on the online gambling ads and pass throughs. We will see as time goes on but here is to hoping his site remains similar and helpful. As to the requests for website assistance costs, he is returning donations to anyone who asks and the rest is being donated to charity. So I would say that he is being pretty upfront and reasonable about entire deal.

Still feels like the old owners are running the site?
