Looking at the charts it seems Delaware and Pa rose in revenue while New Jersey fell. AC must have changed something in 2006 that repelled customers. Ten in 2009 Pa and Delaware rose in revenue but AC continued its revenue slump. Don't these dates coincide with AC gutting their rules on BJ? HMMMM food for thought.

What rule changes in blackjack did AC implement?

The charts seem to show the effects of competition. Just too many casinos.

It's mostly competition, I'm sure. Look at Ceasars/Harrahs trying to stop their bleeding by closing casinos. Even ones that were profitable like Harrah's in Tunica or the Showboat..........but they were NOT profitable enough to cover their expenses AND debt service. But surely it's not just competition. Change in rules........like adding BJ pay 6-5 on shoe games in Atlantic City could NOT have helped. And seems like to me that as a low limits player (but comped or mainly comped) where I got pretty good treatment in Tunica, now with losing THAT many rooms and amenities, the place has dropped in desire to attend. Sure I LOVE to play BJ but I also go to an area for the other amenities like golf and the restaurants and entertainment. By closing their biggest and largest resort in Tunica, they have increased hotel room cost AND given up a lot of amenities.......a very good golf course, a convention center, entertainment venue, etc.

Not sure they are being smart in the "long run".
