• Facial-recognition in Ohio casinos?

Ohio looks at facial-recognition at casino cashiers. Frankly, I don't think much of the technology. Yet. But, technology has a way of advancing.

I posted this link in another thread, but technologies like this will also improve and help reclaim privacy: http://gizmodo.com/reclaim-your-priv...-fac-514256615

Not quite practical yet, but not a bad start.

You don't think these glasses will make you the center of attention for surveillance? I thought the whole purpose was to allow you to fly under the radar. I suspect you would be politely asked to remove the glasses so they could be inspected and their FR system would have their shot at your face. A refusal would get you a 86ed. Why would you refuse if you weren't up to no good.

I'm sure the glasses would, yes. But as the technology improves, I'm curious if it will make its way into contacts. There are other things you can do as well. I wanted to point out that as FR advances, so does tech to evade it.
