    Apparently, negotiations between Genting, the massive Malaysian casino corp., and New York state have failed. Not a huge surprise. Yet another stumble in the long path to building a real casino in New York City. Genting wanted assurance that it would be the only NYC casino. Cuomo attempts to put a good face on the problem by saying he will now open bidding on a casino/convention plan. Full story at http://www.nytimes.com/2012/06/02/ny...nd-casino.html.
