• Pennsylvanian casinos fined

Basically, for sloppy operations. Sloppiness is not exactly bad news for APs. BTW, I'd hardly call King of Prussia Philadelphia Area.

Especially not when the sloppiness allows players who ought not to be playing there to secure new ratings cards and generate a ton of action before anyone notices. Man, if they can't even keep out people who voluntarily pose for high-quality photographs and dealing to whom could result in regulatory issues for the casino...

K of P is a bit of a hike for commuters to Phily. Although I've known people to travel further.

I'm really not that familiar with the area, but in the 1980s I used to do a baseball/comic show at King Of Prussia mall and it seemed like most of the attendees were from the Philly area.

Back then, there wasn't heavy population West of K of P. Customers of the mall came from the Main Line, Norristown, Conshohocken and other areas North of the Main Line. A lot of Main Line people commuted to Phily. But, they live well East of K or P. So yeah, there were Phily bedroom communities East of K of P that shopped there. GE also had aerospace research and manufacturing in Valley Forge and Univac built its computers North of there, employing a fair number of people.

K of P is a nightmare to drive. It's an extremely congested area nowadays. The roads are always under construction with convoluted detours.

Always has been. When the King of Prussia Mall was built, the largest in the country at the time, and the big GE plants were operating, there were no highways. Just two, intersecting, two lane roads, constantly congested. When I was a kid and decided to get a drivers license, I asked my father to give me a lesson. One Saturday, we get in the car and he says, "go that way". He continues giving instructions. The instructions led to the King of Prussia Mall, on a Saturday afternoon. After navigating through the grocery store parking lot with shopping carts and people everywhere and finally getting home, he said, "you had your lesson".

There used to be this abandoned old building right smack in the middle of the road. I guess they couldn't tear it down so they left it in the center median. It was gone last time I was down that way.
Quite a mall, as those things go.

KOP, like Atlanta, will be beautiful if they ever finish building it
